Objectives... |
|
| |
The
objectives of the USS Guadalcanal TG 22.3 Association are fraternal, historical,
and educational; that is to preserve and strengthen the friendships among
its members, both shipmates and former foes whom the Lord God saw fit
to bring together without further animosity; to perpetuate the history
of the events which brought the original members together by supporting
the preservation of the artifacts of the U 505 where they are displayed
as a memorial to all those seafarers who lost their lives in defense of
their homelands; and to support and encourage the education of future
generations in history and patriotism as exemplified by this episode in
WW II. |
